DESCRIPTION:Leek is mildly resistant to the cold and wind and can be planted when the weather is still cool.   Between May 8th – May 20th is the perfect time to plant them outdoors. \nAlways go by the weather\, if the weather is poor during this time postpone planting or if the weather is fair before these dates plant early. \nPlants that have been properly hardened off are less susceptible to cold and wind damage.
